Wealth Planner Matthew Hauptman Earns CFP® Certification

At Tobias Financial Advisors, we believe continued learning is an important part of serving clients whose financial lives and needs can evolve over time. We encourage our team members to continue developing their knowledge and experience across the many areas that can be part of comprehensive financial planning.

We are pleased to share that Wealth Planner Matthew Hauptman has earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification.

The CFP® certification requires professionals to meet standards in four areas: education, examination, experience, and ethics. The required coursework encompasses several areas of personal financial planning, including investments, tax planning, retirement planning, risk management and insurance, and estate planning. CFP® professionals also commit to CFP Board’s ethical and professional standards, including acting as a fiduciary when providing financial advice to a client.

For Matthew, earning the certification represents another step in his professional development and reflects the time and effort he has invested in expanding his financial planning knowledge.

Why does continued education matter to us?

Financial planning often involves decisions that extend beyond a single area of a client’s financial life. Taxes can affect investment decisions. Retirement goals can influence savings and income strategies. Changes within a family or business can introduce new estate planning considerations.

Having professionals who continue to develop their knowledge across these areas supports the team-based, comprehensive approach we take at Tobias. Matthew works alongside our advisors and other members of the planning team to help analyze clients’ financial circumstances and support the development and ongoing review of their financial plans.

We are proud to celebrate Matthew’s accomplishment and his continued commitment to his professional development.
