Petra Gay Jurova

Petra was born and raised in Slovakia. Apart from English, she speaks Slovak and Czech fluently. For many years she competed on the WTA tour as a professional tennis player. In 2013, Petra moved to Fort Lauderdale to attend Nova Southeastern University as a student-athlete. Meanwhile, she grew passionate about strategic communication and digital media and became the coordinator of the university’s social media presence. With a passion for writing, Petra was also active in contributing to the University’s newspaper and during her graduate years became a mentor for students in composition and rhetoric. Prior to joining our firm, Petra was leading the marketing department at a law firm. 

Passionate about continuous learning, Petra obtained the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ (FPQP®) designation, which encompasses comprehensive knowledge of financial planning concepts and their practical implementation. She has also earned a certification in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University, enhancing her expertise in brand positioning, competitive analysis, and data-driven marketing strategies. This combination of financial and marketing acumen allows Petra to create strategic initiatives that support client engagement and education that align with their evolving needs.

In her free time, Petra stays active on the tennis court and coaches young aspiring players. Away from the court, she values time with her husband and son and enjoys the everyday adventures that come with family life.
