Maria Hernandez

Maria started with us as an intern supporting our tax compliance services. She is a proud alumnus of Florida Atlantic University (FAU), from which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. During her time at FAU, Maria discovered her passion for learning about personal finance and how it interconnects with making a meaningful difference in society. She also enjoyed getting involved in intellectually challenging discussions in her Public Speaking courses, developing her ability to communicate effectively and understand others. 

Born in Cuba and raised in the Canary Islands, Spain, Maria and her family decided to move to South Florida to pursue better opportunities and to be closer to family. The different culture and diversity helped shape Maria into an adaptable individual who wants to help others in their journey to financial success.  In her free time, she enjoys reading, drawing, spending time with her loved ones, and hiking in nature with her dog.
