Catalina Franco-Cicero, MS, CFP®, CTS™ is a Plantation based financial advisor who operates under the fee-only model. Catalina provides a comprehensive range of financial planning services such as investment asset management, financial and life planning, and various functions aimed at assisting clients in safeguarding, expanding, and organizing their assets during different stages of life. As a fee-only, fiduciary, and independent financial advisor, Catalina does not receive any form of commission and has a legal obligation to provide unbiased and reliable financial guidance. 

Catalina Franco-Cicero, MS, CFP®, CTS™ serves as a Wealth Advisor at Tobias Financial Advisors in Plantation, Florida. In this role, Catalina focuses on co-creating possibilities along with her clients by matching their values with their financial goals. She collaborates with her clients’ professional advisors and brings clarity around short and long term financial goals, which may include retirement planning, tax planning, and ensuring that their legacy gets passed down efficiently. In addition, she serves as a mentor for the next generation advisors on the team.

Catalina is passionate about her fiduciary responsibility to put the needs of her clients before her own. Catalina is fluent in Spanish, and as a Colombia native and an immigrant, she especially enjoys helping other immigrant or first-generation American clients as they try to navigate through the challenges of learning a new language and understanding the financial system in this country.

Catalina was recognized as a 2016 Financial Planning Association’s Diversity Scholarship Winner for bringing financial planning to underserved populations. She has been selected by InvestmentNews as a recipient of the Excellence in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award for 2022. She has been quoted and mentioned in multiple media outlets including InvestmentNews, MarketWatch, FA Magazine, Morningstar, Benefits Pro, Magnify Money. She is active both in the Financial Planning community through the Financial Planning Association at the national level and in the human resources community locally, where she served as Treasurer for Human Resource Association of Broward County for two terms. Catalina currently serves on the Advisory Board of CHIP professionals and serves as a CHIP financial planning professional. She is also the Board Chair of the Women, Wealth, Wisdom and Wine professional women’s group.

Outside of financial planning, she enjoys giving back to the community through her volunteer work. You can also catch her participating in Zumba and Boot Camp classes and encouraging anyone she meets to incorporate healthy eating and fitness practices into their daily lives.
